Earn Your BASI or MASI Certification

Invest in your career with a BASI or MASI certification.

Ready to take the BASI or MASI exam?

Questions on both exams are based on course content in the ASI Learning Network. To request the BASI or MASI exam, you must:

  • Be a current member of ASI.
  • Demonstrate your industry involvement by attending at least one live ASI event (ASI Show, ASI Power Summit, fASIlitate, ConneX, PPM Power Meetings) or other promo industry event every two years.

We understand that our members have demanding schedules – in addition to significant industry knowledge – so we decided to streamline our certification process.
Points are no longer being offered or tracked, so you can request the BASI exam (or the MASI exam if you've already earned your BASI) as soon as you feel ready to take it and have fulfilled the ASI event and survey requirements. If you’d like to know your total points as of November 20, 2018, please email asieducation@asicentral.com with your request.

The Counselor State of the Industry Survey for suppliers, distributors and decorators is available every year from January through March. The ASI Quarterly Sales Survey for distributors and decorators is available every April, July and October. Additional surveys are available periodically.
No, as the BASI and MASI certifications no longer expire.
