HandStands Acquires UpCycle Goods
Salt Lake City-based HandStands Promo (asi/59525) has acquired Seattle-based Upcycle Goods (asi/92767), the companies have announced. Financial terms of the deal, made public on November 8, were not disclosed. Per the agreement, Upcycle will become a standalone brand under the HandStands’ umbrella in 2018. All Upcycle employees will be retained and going forward owner Darron Losse will serve as HandStands’ VP of key accounts.

Founded in 2014, Upcycle Goods has become a market leader in using recycled materials in its promo products. The company has worked with major brands like Microsoft, Apple, HP, AT&T, GE, Home Depot, Boeing, Dr. Pepper, Google, and more.
